Nurture In Nature - our outdoor environment
Here at Bracken Edge we are so lucky to have an amazing outdoor space and our own woods as well. We all know that modern life and the increase of screen time means that children have reduced opportunities to see risk and make safe choices. Our aim is to utilise our outdoor space to allow teamwork and freedom to explore, this then teaches them confidence and an understanding of boundaries.
Every Wednesday Bushcraft John comes in and works with a different year group each half term. This is usually linked to the curriculum.
